Amelia Samari is a Fiber Artist that is based Honolulu, Hawaii. Interested in the meditative aspect of weaving, Amelia’s current practice involves the creation of  rope vessels that mimic the ancient technique of coiled baskets. After receiving a BFA in Fiber Arts from the University of Hawai’i, Amelia has worked in a variety of settings including working as an Arts Educator for the Honolulu Museum of Art. Amelia’s most recent body of work, “Arizona Series”, is inspired by her desert surroundings in her temporary home in Arizona.

Casa Amarosa's roots in India and its founder Nirali Guzman's nostalgia for her homeland play a significant role in the brand's vision. Casa Amarosa began when Nirali was searching for a way to bring a piece of her beloved India to her new home in the United States. She was inspired by the vibrancy of Indian textiles and artisan-made goods, and she knew that she wanted to share this magic with the world.

It took several years and various iterations, but Casa Amarosa eventually took shape as a brand that works with small producers in India. Sustainability is at the core of Casa Amarosa's vision, with a focus on small batches, artisan producers, and individually crafted goods. The brand designs its products to be textural and celebrates the unique, artisan-made marks and beautiful character of the materials.

Theresa Berens is the designer, illustrator, shipper, warehouse manager and reluctant bookkeeper behind Boss Dotty, a labor of love that would not be possible without pop-in help from a wildly supportive band of family and friends in Brooklyn and Nebraska. Her creative, independent and resilient grandmother Dorothy is Boss Dotty’s namesake.

Megan Oshiro is the creator of SimplyMKO, she creates stationary items inspired by her Korean culture. She started her brand during her undergraduate and decided to pursue her small business full time after graduating. She is located in Dallas TX, USA.

Normandie is an independent maker and small business with a background in illustration. Her greeting cards and illustrated products are often bright and whimsical.

Next Chapter Studio is a design and print shop running on Riso. They specialize in Risograph printing, creating greeting cards and art prints.

Their mission is to make bright and eye-catching greetings cards for everyone using the environmentally friendly Risograph printing. Fluorescent and colorful Riso inks, made with vegetable and soy, allow our fun designs to jump off the paper. They make an effort to source supplies from US based small businesses.

Next Chapter Studio was founded in New York City in 2018 and relocated to Albuquerque in 2020 to grow into the future. They design, print, and assemble all of our products by hand.

Olive & Loom's mission is to source traditional, old world goods with a fresh, modern aesthetic. They focus on practical items made using artisanal methods and all natural sources.

Veronica Gutierrez started LIT organically while planning her son’s 1st birthday. Not being able to find the perfect candle for his birthday cake, she decided to make it herself! Unaware that this will become a business and storefront in Toronto—she continued testing colours, supplies and designs.

Her obsession with candle-making quickly grew. And having a baby boy truly heightened the feeling of doing something bigger other than working in media&advertising— the industry she was persuing at the time. Looking for a challenge, something she truly loved, could stand by, where not every day looked OR felt the same, Veronica decided to stick with growing a candle company, and going all in.

This Candle is Lit, is actually so Lit! Since starting with birthday candles, Veronica now runs a small team and storefront that does more than just candles. LIT opened its doors to teaching others the “art of candle-making”. Running monthly workshops at Lit Studios, helping businesses create memories with team-building activities, and even attending events that include candle-making as an experiential component.

Lit continues to create unique candle products that are sold in-stores of North America and Europe. As well as working with brands/stores, to help their candle vision come to life. We care about the details— from supplies, production, packaging to building long-term relationships with our clients.
